Jornal de Negócios - French investors acquire a company in Leiria with 270 employees

Vulcain Engineering has acquired 70% of the capital of EST – Empresa Serviços Técnicos, a company that generates a turnover of 35 million euros, half of which is generated in international markets, and which will continue to be led by its president and founder, Mário Rodrigues.

The French group Vulcain Engineering, which has more than six thousand employees and generates a turnover of 630 million euros, has taken a majority stake in the company EST – Empresa Serviços Técnicos, based in Leiria. The latter employs 270 people and expects to close the current financial year with a turnover of 35 million euros, three million more than the previous year, with exports accounting for "about 50%" of the total.
